Africa is not merely a destination we know and love with a passion, but it is also our home. We've grown up in Africa, worked in Africa all our lives (not counting the stint in London) and traveled extensivley to most of the African destinations we represent here.
Whenever we manage to get away from our desks for bit of a break, we travel around southern and east Africa, to stay up to date with what's happening in this beautiful continent, but mainly because we love it so much! |

Last but definitely not least, we seek to redistribute some of the wealth the business creates to those people that need it most. We do this by donating 10% of our revenue each year to a foundation called Touch the Land. These guys implement rural community development projects in the countries featured on our website.
The foundation's vision is to build sustainable futures for some of the poorest people in Africa. Currently our focus is on supporting rural communities dependent on subsistence agriculture because we believe it is the most effective way of bringing real change into the lives of families. It creates food security after the first season but more importantly, it also brings dignity as they are empowered to do something about their situation themselves. It is also the first step towards taking whole communities out of poverty permanently.
